Has it really been January since I last posted?

Well, remember that short leave I was going to take from work? Well, just before the start of the first segment of it, I was informed there would be a face to face with mediation meeting with someone I and other coworkers had serious issues with. So my first three days off were spent with this hanging over my head. We all showed up, except the person in question called off. Great.

So that took care of that restful break. The next time my shift rolled around, I received a call about a fire that broke out at the complex where our sites are located, started by one of our clients. So I came off my “break” and came in to work. We were in a crisis mode for a period of time. Things are still in a state of flux, and since then the pressure seems to have increased in other areas of my life as well.

That will teach me to try to take time off! But I’m hanging in there!

In the meantime, I’ve been working on revising my book, “Where There’s Smoke”, when I can. It still focuses on relational aggression as the context, but the purpose of the book has shifted more to the dynamics of covert abuse in general and specifically the various forms of deception to pull it off.

New Plans...
I will be uploading the introduction to the book as a free pdf download, the only requirement being your email address so I can email you the link and notify you when the book actually goes live. No commitment to purchase and no promise of when it will be ready! I know better by now.

Anyway, I hope you are doing well.

Be back this week with the link. Share This
