A Worthwhile Endeavor

Woo Hoo! I worked on the not-working email feature until 3:30 a.m. and then got up at 6:15 for my job. Tackled it all day today, and I think now, finally, I have it all in order. Didn’t have to downgrade, at all. I messed around with two new plugins, and am now just using one, but it’s better than before. I have to work on the “submit your post” form now, as that’s not working, BUT I’m happy I got the email thing taken care of.

(I do believe I worked that out…and it’s only almost midnight! So I get to go to bed early tonight. :-) Give the feature a try. If you have an experience or something to share as an article, then please, share it!) To facilitate dialog, I created a forum instead of using the submit an article feature. Please go here instead – www.voicesofhealing.com

Of course, if I was knowledgeable about these things, it probably would have taken me all of fifteen minutes to straighten the email thing out and not the hours, too numerous to count, at this moment, but I’m happy just the same.

Don’t you love that feeling of accomplishment?

You know, we do make things too easy sometimes. Now, if you’re in the midst of relational aggression, I’m sure you’re thinking you couldn’t make it much more complicated, but I’m talking about just general stuff in life.

I think sometimes we use following our interests as excuses sometimes to quit when the going gets too rough – you know, “I’m interested in something else now”…or worse yet, too normal – “If it’s not thrilling, I’m not willing”…

But life doesn’t always have to be interesting or thrilling to be worthy of our attention.

And it’s that stick-to-itness that does more for a person’s self esteem more than all the compliments in the world. You know why? Because it’s your inner voice that is saying, “Job well done”, and you know it’s deserved.

Well, having written that, I hope my email doesn’t suddenly give out on me, but if it does, I’m sure I’ll figure something out.

And so will you. Let yourself have that. Don’t give up on whatever it is you’re endeavoring, not just because it might be a worthwhile endeavor, but because you are. :-)
