It’s been brought to my attention that there might still be a problem with logging in to comment. I tested it and it seemed to work okay for me, but that doesn’t mean it works for everyone.
Just for clarification, let me go through the steps here, and if any of you get hung up on any step or get an error message, please let me know immediately so I can remedy it. I’m thinking about using another template for this blog, as I’m not entirely sure it’s working as it should with the new software upgrades.
Anyway, here’s the steps:
1) Click the Register link in the meta box in the lower right hand column.
2) Upon entering your email address and user name (I’d pick an anonymous one), you should receive an email at that address with a password and a log on link.
3) Click the log on link from the email or from the blog.
4) Enter with the password given you.
5) Once you’re logged on, you can change the password to something easier for you to remember if you want. You can, also, change your user name. I suggest sticking with an anonymous name to protect your privacy, unless it really doesn’t matter to you like myself.
6) The very first comment you make, and only the first, will require moderation from me. This is to attempt to keep spam down. I have a spam catcher that literally stops thousands of spam entries on a regular basis, but sometimes spam will come through, so I need to make sure the email address the comment is coming from is from a “for real” person. Once I okay your first comment, then you can make as many comments as you want without moderation.

ALSO, please note that registering as a user allows you to comment and participate on this blog. It does not notify you of new posts.
