…tell me my last post really wasn’t in April!
Well, that’s when I enrolled my daughter in Agora, a cyber school hoping it would provide me with greater support and give me more time, BUT that’s not what happened.
It turned out that I wound up having to do twice the work in half the time, because her father didn’t want to put in those hours. He changed his mind and decided he’d rather go independent., which given the circumstances, I agreed!
I decided it would not be good to pull her out after just enrolling her, so she and I finished out the year. It was hard work! But she did it, and I’m so proud of her.
One of the things that were made unarguably clear was how much remedial work she needed, and this has given me the backbone to insist on a new way of doing things, as far as her education goes.
Summer should give me a little relief, although I will be doing some work with her, but these few months will be months I hope to get a lot of stuff done on this blog and other projects! Hope you’ll join me
