Well, I won’t be performing “Backstabber” this Saturday (see previous post), because it just doesn’t fit with my set of healing music. The words are so strong and harsh, that it overwhelmingly sticks out. So what we’ve decided to do is to create two more songs, one that leads into Backstabber and one that leads out. This will take a while.

Relational aggression is such an important topic to address. I don’t want to leave it out in my musical presentation, and I, also, have a problem with presentations that focus either entirely too much on the negative or the positive. Life is a balance, and talking about the healing journey, also, entails addressing the wound. Still, it must be done with some elegance and grace, and at this juncture, it just won’t work with what we have.

So, although we won’ t be performing “Backstabber” tomorrow, we will be performing other poignant songs.

I will, also, have a printout of “Where There’s Smoke”, for you to puruse, but need more work on the multi media CD. I can do it, but it’s not quite up to my standard, so that, too, will have to wait.

Small steps, one step at a time. It’s all part of the process.

Hope you are doing well

Demian,
