Check out the latest bit on my newest book:
Yesterday’s mean girls, today’s drama queens keep their sting
Boston Herald - United States
“I’m sorry, but you just don’t fit in”
Ouch.
But that catch phrase cements author Cheryl Dellasega’s theory: that the nastiness of girls - bullying, gossiping, back-stabbing and aggression - isn’t left behind when you leave school. In fact, those same girls who tortured you in grades K-12 haven’t stopped. They just get better at it.”
The journalist who wrote this article was, like so many of the ones I speak with, well informed and articulate about the “mean” behaviors that can be lobbed from one woman to another. Her comments on Martha Stewart’s new show prompted me tune in this past week, and, well….I got on my soapbox about that a few blogs ago.
Of course, we all know that Donald Trump is cruel to the contestants on his show, too, but what struck me about Martha is how sweetly she smiles throughout…..
